Originally a 17th-century nobleman's mansion belonging to the family of Count Flamburiari, Cavalieri Hotel is approximately one mile from Corfu Airport and the port. Corfu, or Kerkyra, lies in the northern Ionian Sea at the entrance to the Adriatic, off the west coast of Albania and the Greek mainland. It is the northern-most of the seven Ionian Islands. The capital of the island is also named Corfu.
